We've been hard at work improving Frontline, our tool for building AI assistants without coding. Here's what's new and why it matters:
Safer, More Personal Conversations
Identity Checking with HMAC
What it is: We added a way to securely pass user info to your AI assistant at the start of each chat. It uses a method called HMAC to make sure the data hasn't been tampered with.
Why it matters: Your AI can now greet users by name or reference their account details right away, without compromising security. This makes conversations feel more natural and saves time for both you and your users.
What it is: When your AI learns a user's name, email, or phone number, it automatically saves this info as a contact in Frontline.
Why it matters: You're building a valuable contact list without any extra work. This can be great for follow-ups or understanding your user base better.
What it is: We've added something called "streaming" to make your AI respond faster.
Why it matters: Faster responses mean a better experience for your users and can help you handle more conversations in less time.
Automatic Language Detection
What it is: Your AI now automatically detects what language someone is using and responds in the same language.
Why it matters: You can now serve users who speak different languages without any extra setup. This is huge if you have (or want) a global user base.
Other Improvements
We've made our system better at finding relevant information when your AI answers questions. This means more accurate responses.
There's a new way to easily insert variables when you're building conversation flows. Just type "{" and start typing the variable name.
We've fixed a bunch of small bugs and made various behind-the-scenes improvements.
That's the rundown of what's new. These changes are all about making your AI assistants smarter, faster, and easier to manage. If you have any questions or want to try out these features, just let us know.
